The city’s premiere Pride event features a parade and festival on Aug. 23 at Fiesta Gardens. Both events are free to attend! After the parade on Aug. 23, head over to Cheer Up Charlie’s downtown for ATX Trans Pride. The event features lots of live music and goes until 2 a.m. RSVP is recommended. Happy Pride Month! Gather the girls, guys, gays and theys to celebrate, support queer-owned businesses and hopefully learn more about Pride Month and why it is important as you attend.
