Why do so many in our community not like drag?
1. All drag queens are gay. It's true that the majority of drag queens are gay, but there is a small minority of queens who are straight. I honestly did not know this until I watched some of the audition tapes for last season of RuPaul's Drag Race. One of the contestants stated that even though he performs in drag, he is percent straight. My opinion about drag queens changed after seeing the right-wing hate cult demonize, humiliate, threatened, and marginalize the drag community using the exact same blood libel and hate mongering that they've always used to denigrate gay and trans people.
