I don't know how anyone can look at the way gay people have historically been treated and then say people choose to be gay. Why would someone choose to be ostracized by their family and thrown out in the street, lose their job out of the blue, be branded a serial rapist, beaten and murdered by a mob, or even executed by the state?. .
