Here is how he explains it: “ 1 Corinthians 6 is very clear about the eternal consequence for those who practice homosexuality—but there’s good news. I would say we can look at the latest scientific literature, which does not strongly support that conclusion. Or we know that if men have higher levels of testosterone they may be more ambitious, they may be more athletic, they may also be more prone to promiscuity, maybe more prone to anger. It’s important to remember that the Bible never labels people with modern terms like “gay,” “bisexual,” or even “straight.”. While someone may struggle with same-sex attraction and still follow Christ, true faith means surrendering all desires to God and finding our identity in Him, not in our sexuality.
