For the past several years, Kings Island has been sponsoring a special event Gay Day in September (which requires the purchase of a special ticket) as a fundraiser for Cincinnatti's Gay and Lesbian Center. I know that most in the gay community now prefer to go to this special event and have the park to themselves. After years of reading all the hype, I had to see Kings Island for myself in August Spoiler alert: The park more than earns the praise it gets.

Tickets are on-sale now for Pride Night at Kings Island. Advance tickets ($43ea) can be purchased through online here. Group discounts (7+ tickets) ($40ea) can be purchased online. Additional tickets will be available at the gate ($47ea) on the evening of the event.
