A popular claim about the Super Mario Galaxy logo is that the letters with sparkles spell "UR MR GAY" (usually pronounced "You are Mr. Gay"). While most likely a coincidence, it is often treated as a deliberate hidden message left by the logo artist and interpreted as a homophobic.
