Donald David Dixon Ronald O'Connor (August 28, – September 27, ) was an American dancer, singer and actor. He came to fame in a series of films in which he co-starred, in succession, with Gloria Jean, Peggy Ryan, and Francis the Talking Mule. He was an American actor, singer and dancer who became famous in a series of movies in which he costarred alternately with Gloria Jean, Peggy Ryan, and Francis the Talking Mule. Donald, who never went to school, joined the family act as soon as he could walk, though he admitted not having sung until he was two years old.

Fate decided O’Connor’s profession before he was born. O’Connor’s parents were Vaudevillians—his mother was a horse rider and his father was an acrobat—and worked as traveling entertainers. There was a dark side to this, though. The O'Connors traveled so much that neither could remember where or even when Donald was born.
