I can understand listening to shitty soulless pop music at the club when you're drunk, but why would you ever say your favorite musician is an abysmal pop artist? My definition of “good taste in music” is someone who is passionate about their music beyond surface level, Actually noticing lyrics and parts and Someone who can find good in most genres so I’d say yes there is such a thing as bad taste.
