The Prisoner Correspondence Project is a solidarity project for gay, lesbian, transsexual, transgender, gendervariant, two-spirit, intersex, bisexual and queer prisoners in Canada and the United States, linking them with people a part of these same communities outside of prison. To ensure equity, profiles are sorted randomly. I've been incarcerated going on 5 years.

The Bent Bars Project is run by a small, completely volunteer-run collective, which aims to connect lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer and gender-nonconforming people inside and outside prison in Britain and Northern Ireland. The organising collective meets one evening per week to respond to mail, forward letters and generally keep the project. .
