Wonder woman is now canonically a "queer woman".
Does DC acknowledge Wonder Woman as Bisexual or not, in the main stream? Because in each of the DC Pride event annual issues for several years now, I have never seen once Diana being shown interacting with LGBTQ+ characters in DC right now, or her bisexuality being acknowledged. As the most famous female superhero of all time and a core member of the Justice League Trinity, Wonder Woman is and undeniably should be one of DC Comics' most important characters. I would suspect it has something to do with Wonder Woman being an inspiration. She's a champion of women, from a society that houses exclusively women. One would assume, in a very optimistic viewing of the source material, that it would include, embrace and support all women. But missing was their number one queer icon, Wonder Woman — arguably the most socially significant comic superhero of all time. As far as I can tell, cynical commercial reasons seem to lie at the heart of this cover-up: a queer Wonder Woman would be banned in many countries, and less marketable to conservative households — therefore generating less revenue for DC.

Is a man who identifies as gay, but has had a string of female partners earlier in his lifetime any less gay for it? Conversely is a woman who identifies as straight, but then has a long term relationship with a woman any less straight? Under Kinsey, the answer to both is "yes." Which then rejects self identification for sex. They are feminist icons whose noble hearts and heroic deeds have made them living legends on Earth - and whose heroics echo across the multiverse. While some fans may be surprised by this revelation, it actually is in keeping with Wonder Woman's greatest origin story.

I doubt they'll come out and say it in the Wonder Woman movie, but it wouldn't shock me if it's implied. Patty's last movie had a lot to do with the romantic relationship between the two main women, and one of the writers of the movie, Allan Heinberg, is gay. .
