When I started writing my new book, God and the Gay Christian, I was well aware that Christians who oppose same-sex marriage in the church have long used the Bible to defend their point of view. How can I participate in the Church as someone who experiences same-sex attraction or identifies as gay? What are some principles of action that I can follow as one who experiences SSA or identifies as gay or bisexual? Does God love me even if I am a gay Christian?
A common argument for the acceptance of homosexuality and same-sex marriage is that, if God is love, He would not condemn the love of others. The main problem with this is the kind of “love” we’re talking about. First John says, “Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.” The “love” referenced here is the Greek agape. This type of love is the conscious act. The Bible is a special book for many people, filled with verses that guide us in our everyday lives. Many wonder what the Bible says about love, acceptance, and respecting one another despite differences. 
Does God love me if I experience same
He loves people of every race and culture, those who are married or single, and those who experience same-sex attraction or who identify as gay, lesbian, or bisexual. Even when we may not feel that love, we can trust that it is still there. “God loves you because you are His spirit daughter [or son],” said Elder Dale G. Renlund. Does God hate them for it? Does God love them just as they are?
Can I still be accepted by God as a gay?

Once we come to God, we become the righteousness of God in Christ. Walking that out is a lifetime battle of the flesh bs the spirit. The Word of God should be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Ps. ), so let the Word guide you to good and productive conversations. Does God love gay people? Yes. God loves them deeply and he desires a relationship with them. However, He cannot accept what He rejects. We can see that homosexuality is deemed a sin in the Bible. . 
How to Answer This
Is the gospel good news for gay people? This is a question that affects me personally. When I’m attracted to somebody, it’s usually another woman. I might use words like ‘gay’ or ‘bi’ to describe my attractions. Does this mean I’m somehow wrong and cut off from God? Does God love me? Can I know him? Maybe you’re asking the same kind of questions. Perhaps your experience is. .
