5 biggest differences between GTA 4's The Lost and Damned and
The Ballad of Gay Tony was basically a prelude for GTA V with the light-hearted tone, and over-the-top missions, within the confines of IV's engine. I didn't care for GTA V as much though. GTA 4 was a revolutionary title, setting in motion the HD Universe that fans have grown so familiar with. Rockstar Games offered a lifelike open-world map with this title's Liberty City. The Lost and Damned seems more bleak and hopeless than Grand Theft Auto 4, while The Ballad of Gay Tony has a less serious tone. In TLAD, Johnny and The Lost become embroiled in a civil war. I was wanting some more open world goodness. So, If I were only to play one of them which one should I go for assuming I decide to throw it in and start one of them up? I like The Ballad Of Gay Tony more - better story, more humor, better characters. Lost and Damned is horrible, if it was a standalone GTA game, it would be the worst. I think their both great games, but would said the lost and damned because the missions are a little bit more challenging than the Ballad of gay tony. Wiki User.

Loved the vibe for gay tony, some of the additional content. Other than some minor display tweaks for the two DLCs and extra guns and vehicles, the biggest differences were how gritty everything was in the story of Lost & Damned and the Glam and superficial stuff in Gay Tony. While Johnny focuses on the gritty realism of the biker lifestyle, Luis lives a high-class life in the nightclub scene. For any fans who wanted less gloom and more glitz and glamor , Ballad of Gay Tony did a superb job.

My favorite was GTA IV, then it was ballad of gay tony just for the mood it sets makes it feel like a fun GTA without drama and just dumb humor. The lost and damned has a darker feel which I dont really care for, Once I got all the trophys in lost and damned I never played that game again for fun. . So Ballad of Gay Tony or Lost and Damned?
