I’m Here, I’m Queer, I’m Conservative
Not just in terms of ethnic background or life experience, but in political views. There is a large gap between the supposed spokespeople of the community and the actual range of opinion held within it. I should know. I’m a university-educated Gen-Z bi guy living in California's San Francisco Bay area — and I’m a conservative. I knew I was conservative long before I knew I was queer. A natural contrarian, I always wanted to color outside the box.
