Honestly a gay Monarch would have the entire Royal Legal System against them. If George were gay, the church could petition the courts to rule him unfit to rule. They could also bar him from performing many of his Royal duties. George could likewise try to sue the courts to change the laws around succession, but I doubt it would go anywhere. .
