Recently, the Polo League has held events celebrating their pride as well as their love for the sport at the International Gay Polo Tournament [4] hosted at the National Polo Center (formally International Polo Club Palm Beach.) [4] The league has also produced GPL polo events in Argentina, England and France. It was when entertainment and sports branding agent Chip McKenney, 50 at the time, started to look for new hobbies. After devoting years to individual sports such as showjumping and skiing, the longtime Angeleno found his way into polo almost by accident, hearing by word of mouth that lessons were available in Santa Barbara.
