In the original Heathers movie Kurt was not gay, this was an implied joke after he died that him and Ram were gay lovers who had to die to protect their relationship. Kurt: Hey, Ram. In my totally unbiased opinion, Heathers might be one of the greatest movies ever made.

Misapproving is not a word did Veronica and JD do that on purpose because Kurt and Ram are supposed to be stupid?. My purpose in creating this project is to showcase the ways in which the gender performance of characters is constructed by the production teams of films in order to make audience read characters as having a particular sexuality. I will do this through an analysis of and construction of a visual artistic model of a particular scene in the film, Heathers.

He and Ram were basically dating at some point, but both thought the way they acted about each other was completely normal in platonic relationships, since the only example they had was their fathers, who were literally gay lovers. Kurt was actually really smart, but he was so scared of being called a "nerd" by his friends and father that he would purposefully get things wrong on tests, act. In heathers, Veronica and Jason trick everyone into thinking Ram and Kurt committed suicide because they were gay. It's sort of odd, but like have you been paying attention?

The "Dead Gay Son" scene is actually making us laugh at the idea that Kurt and Ram were gay but in the vers., Veronica laughs at J.D. making fun of them and of course, we also laugh, but when Kurt/Ram's little sister [I cannot differentiate them] looks back at them, we feel guilty for laughing at the joke. . they actually swapped kurt and ram in a few other moments. during "dead gay son," ram's dad sings about loving ram. in the movie, kurt's dad is the one who says the famous line; "i love my dead, gay son!" however, the order in which they are killed was notably NOT swapped. ram dies first, kurt runs off, and eventually gets shot by veronica. i do find it interesting that in the movie, ram is. .
