The Macarena competed on the first and third seasons of Drag Race España. [5] She was eliminated on the first episode of season 1, [6][7] finishing tenth overall. On season 3, she finished tenth out of thirteen contestants. With her new music, Macarena continues to challenge herself in two languages, working to create a safe space for queer folks. In fact, the artist wanted to challenge herself to write in Spanish to honor her Latin American roots, as well as make her music an outspoken safe space for queer lyricism.
