There are many LGBTQ-friendly neighborhoods in Raleigh, but there is one specific neighborhood that is known for its high concentration of queer spaces. The Warehouse District is home to multiple gay bars and clubs that have been converted from industrial buildings.

We initiated the Raleigh Religious Network for Gay and Lesbian Equality in the s, and our AIDS care team accompanied several people through their illnesses. We hosted St. John’s Metropolitan Community Church (a sexually diverse denomination) for several years until they could afford their own facilities.
