Callen-Lorde’s grassroots heritage dates back nearly 50 years to the St. Mark’s Community Clinic and Gay Men’s Health Project - two volunteer based clinics that provided LGBTQ sensitive, free health services primarily related to sexual health. In addition, we are continuously pioneering research, advocacy and education to drive positive change around the world, because we believe healthcare is a human right. Read our full history here.

CHC’s LGBTQ+ health services are uniquely designed to ensure competent, knowledgeable care to meet your needs in a safe, welcoming space within our primary care model. Services Primary and preventive care for LGBTQ+ individuals, partners, and their families Routine GYN care Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) screening and sexual health education PrEP/PEP and HIV services Family [ ]. We offer sex-positive, safe, non-judgmental, supportive prevention and screening for sexually transmitted infections STIs to the community for a low cost. Appointments are highly encouraged; however, walk-in services are available for a limited number of patients daily.
