An unexpected health event, likely a complication from her surgery, took her in her was born in Madison, Wisconsin on January. Fewer and fewer families remain for generations — let alone a single generation — long enough to create empathetic bonds. The event, and our suite, were filled with people and I found myself near the door talking with Sally and our friend, Gay.

Since COVID Gay had led New Hope’s book club. Gay would read a chapter of a book each week to any New Hope individual that wanted to listen. .
