After years of waiting, it appears as though Beast is back meeting and greeting visitors in his study at Be Our Guest restaurant in Magic Kingdom! Prior to the pandemic-related closures, diners would get to meet Beast in his study once they finished their meal during dinner. But, when this restaurant opened back up in , Disney treated it as more of a traditional character meal, with Beast. While most of the parks have returned to normal, there are a few experiences that have yet to return. At that time, the meet and greet in the study with the Beast was still being offered, but that has not been the case over the last few years. When I spoke to a Cast Member, they shared that the Beast would still be periodically walking through the dining room and greeting Guests from afar but would not host a photo opportunity in the study. Before the pandemic, guests would finish their meals at the restaurant and greet Beast in his study. However, once pandemic restrictions were put in place in , Beast would just walk around and greet people while they had their meals.

Since opening in December , the Be Our Guest Restaurant has been the signature dining experience at Magic Kingdom. A dream come true for Beauty and the Beast fans, the restaurant not only features an amazing menu of French-inspired cuisine but also allows guests to dine within the Beast’s Castle. Inside the restaurant, guests can dine in one of three dining rooms — the Grand Ballroom. Inside the restaurant, guests can dine in one of three dining rooms — the Grand Ballroom, the West Wing, and the Rose Gallery. All three rooms have been faithfully recreated from Beauty and the Beast and remain some of the most immersive locations in the park.
