A same-sex relationship is a potential form of relationship in The Sims series. Players have been able to create same-sex relationships since the original game, but the way the game has treated these relationships has changed over time. Currently, there are several pre-made same-sex couples in The Sims series. However, several other Sims are implied to be gay or lesbian in their biographies. Every time I try to get my same-sex sims to woohoo, they will refuse even though their gender preference matches their same-sex partner. I've had this happen even with married same-sex couples with their romance bar all the way full.

For some reason, sims can't be in a woohoo partnership and a romantic partnership at the same time with the same sim (I dunno if it's intended that the woohoo partnership won't automatically end/transfer into a proper romantic relationship).
