Flag football leagues?
The Austin Gay Flag Football League was established in to create a safe space for the LGBTQIA+ community to play American Flag Football. ATXGFL is a gender-inclusive organization that promotes a positive, competitive environment and cultivates the formation of friendships off the field with social events and community engagement. Joining a gay sports league is one of the easiest ways to meet people and build a group of friends here in Austin. Depending on the sport, these groups typically offer a spring, summer, fall, and winter league.

The NGFFL is great! And it’s not just for gay people, but for straight allies too. There are over 25 cities with local leagues that are open to all genders, orientations, and skill levels. There is an open division and women’s division at the travel/competitive level, but most local leagues are co-Ed and not super competitive. .
