It has some funny moments but the smut is hot. There's not drama,misunderstandings, or obnoxious characters that get in the way. The characters are all enjoyable from my opinion. I need some recommendations here: Anime that are not promoted as LGBT anime but end up with main characters being LGBT. Ling Qi (action, supernatural) is actually Chinese, but it's obviously heavily influenced by Japanese anime. Queer representation: I'd say its gay subtext is definitely closer to queerbait than a genuine representation of a gay relationship, but it's more overt than other queerbait while also being less fanservice oriented. .
