I love that they tear through every way in which homophobia can be excused, even the very popular but ultimately harmful "secretly gay." cliche. Tank Bates is just a jerk who can't be reasoned with and he doesn't deserve to be in Terry's life. . 
Gayest Episode Ever
The play becomes extremely successful as many homosexual men come to watch though Stan apparently does not notice the gay overtones of his play. The Log Cabin Republicans invite him to speak at the convention; however, it is not until an LCR party that Stan realizes that the members are gay. .
