The Target
Dwight and Angela end up in Toby's office where they ask several disturbing and uneducated questions about how homosexual men have sex causing Toby to appear bewildered and uncomfortable. At first, he thinks it means sex, complete with a tastefully nude Dwight reveal, but she lets him know that she wants someone for surveillance…and more. He asks for Oscar, and Kevin claims to be his co-worker for the free sandwich before Angela tells Trevor has the wrong guy.

In season 3 episode 1: “Gay Witch Hunt” Michael orders Dwight to look at gay pornography at his office computer, and almost all of the office (including Angela) end up looking at it. But in season 9, episode 8: “The Target” Dwight and Angela seem to be completely ignorant about gay people, when they ask Toby where gay men’s vaginas were, or when they ask him “when 2 gay men have. Oscar believes that Angela does not know about his affair with her husband, but in fact she is playing dumb in order to keep Oscar off his guard while she makes arrangements to have him killed. She goes to Dwight for help, without telling him the details, and he calls a fellow former volunteer sheriff's deputy named Trevor for assistance.
