Why would a married, supposedly heterosexual man leave his family to go and be in a romantic relationship with his friend? I've always considered Sherlock to be closer to asexual and John to be heterosexual. But even if Sherlock were gay, I still don't see John being in a romantic/sexual relationship with him. .
