Since many women can’t drive, likely the number of gay men that are bad drivers is also higher. I drive fine, drive fast, can park, but only my orientation is not good. If you move to a big city with high rates of transport use, no one is going to bat an eye if you can't/don't drive. You don't even need to mention the nerve-wracking part of it, just say you don't have your license because you don't want/need one and that car culture is trash. It'll actually make you even more interesting to the city dating pool. .
