Nothing about the writing of gay characters in this show is authentic, and I will never understand why people keep saying this is groundbreaking and not just deeply problematic. There is no depth at all to the writing of gay characters in this, its all just the same kind of making fun of gay stereotypes but with an 'awww, a happy lesson' ending.
