I work in an urban school district. This is my first year teaching, and I am a middle school special education resource teacher.. It’s not as if I’m planning on announcing that to my students (in the same way a straight teacher wouldn’t announce it to their students), but I can think of plenty of times I spoke about my wife at my last school without issue.
