Pacific Northwest Black Pride celebrates, inspires, and advances equity for all people. While these parades and parties bring together thousands of people across backgrounds, still not everyone sees themselves fully reflected in the flurry of rainbow flags and floats. Because of this, some Seattleites seek out Pride events geared toward people who share and celebrate similar cultural and gender identities to their own. 
Pacific Northwest Black Pride 2024
LGBTQ+ Pride events happen all summer long in the Pacific Northwest and one of the most anticipated is PACIFIC NORTHWEST BLACK PRIDE which produces numerous events in August by and for the Pacific NW Black community. It’ll kick off with a special pre-Black Pride Church BBQ on Sunday, August 17th at Judkins Park. But, the main weekend of events will happen Thursday, August 21 through Sunday, August 24th with numerous events being produced at venues across the city. A night cohosted by the renowned Onyx Northwest.
