Now, granted, my reading of Brittany and Santana is not universal. Even Fox, the network that broadcasts Glee, does not see the two as bisexual – in GLAAD’s list of (network-reported) queer characters on broadcast networks, both Kurt Hummel and Sam Evans are listed as gay characters on Glee, but neither Brittany nor Santana warrant a mention. Their friendship has a tendency of being quite temperamental, but has stuck through for most of Season One and parts of Season Two through the Cheerios. And, as I said, Glee wasn’t exactly the best at exploring this particular identity but despite how I spent many paragraphs going on about biphobia, I’d argue Glee actually did being bi kinda right. " Glee was the first time I saw any real LGBTQ representation on TV. Santana helped me realize that I was bi. Seeing her relationship with Brittany unfold as she became more secure in her own. She did such a good job of showing the fear that you're going to let down the people you love. I cry every time I watch that scene, because I know how hard it is.

In the Season Three episode, Nationals, Santana says that they "started together, ended together" and Brittany and Quinn agree. Santana, Brittany and Quinn also reunite and sing together in the episodes Thanksgiving, and Homecoming. The two relationships that we saw her have outside of Santana were with Artie and Sam, both male.
